● réordination nom féminin Seconde ordination, destinée à suppléer une première ordination dont la nullité a été reconnue.

RELIG. Seconde ordination qui vient suppléer à la première lorsque la nullité de celle-ci a été prononcée. L'église de l'Inde du sud est épiscopale, et ses évêques, dans la mesure où ils ne l'étaient pas déjà dans l'anglicanisme, ont été consacrés avec le concours d'évêques ex-anglicans. Mais il n'a pas été procédé à la réordination par eux de tous les ministres venus d'autres dénominations (Philos., Relig., 1957, p. 50-14).
